Natural Mama is a place for me, a first-time mom, to share my experiences, lessons and thoughts with other Natural Mamas.
The two biggest guides in my life are Nature and Spirituality. For me, it’s all about learning to live (this is a life-long lesson) from my heart, from a place of instinct. While I’m on this journey of Mamahood, I like to question why our Western society follows certain practices. I hope to encourage other moms to have a healthy, conscious pregnancy, to have a meaningful, natural birth (if possible, of course), to use natural & organic products in their home, on themselves and their family, and to follow natural and gentle parenting practices.
I love food, and so through this blog, I want share healthy eating habits and recipes for families. I love my yoga practice, and hope to encourage other moms to use asanas as a way to stay strong and healthy during pregnancy, breastfeeding and throughout life as a mother. I love to sew, finding value in creating things that are filled with my love and energy for my child. I hope to inspire you to do the same.
I’ll tell you about the different natural and organic products that I have tried, I’ll share the books and blogs that have shaped me as a Mama, and once a week, I like to share some form of personal experience, and my thoughts and feelings around it.
More than anything, Natural Mama is where I hope like-minded moms will come together. I’d love to hear from you; to hear your experiences, your thoughts, your opinions. And if there are questions that you would like to ask, feel free to contact me.
