If you’re someone who wants to start buying more organic food products, but feel overwhelmed where to begin, or feel that it’s really expensive to do, a simple way to start is by changing your brands of tea, coffee and milk. They’re products that most of use each day, and they won’t make too much of a dent in your food budget.

Quite a few of the big retail grocery stores now stock at least an organic ceylon tea and rooibos tea, but if you, like me, enjoy a variety of teas, you’ve just got to try those produced by My T Chai.

They say about their teas, “My T Chai is authentic masala chai, made simple. Based on ancient Indian and African traditions, our teas are a blend of natural flavour, health and enjoyment, free from additives and synthetic compounds”.

And about their ethos, “Besides providing the world with outstanding tea, it is our mission to be profitable with as small a carbon footprint as possible. We love tea, but we love and care for the Earth even more, which is why are constantly looking for ways to reduce our carbon footprint. All our products are both Kosher and Halaal certified and our Organic Products are certified for South Africa, the USA and the EU”.

My aboslute favourite is the Yogi Chai! Made in a pot, with a dash of milk and a teaspoon of natural honey. Mmmm Mmmm….

PS. I order mine each month from Faithful to Nature.
